It'd be neat if Ness met up with her at some point. After her mother died people tried to get her to attend the Academy. However, she thought of it as 'A stupid way to catalogue us.' So, she really does think the school is one big sham. Ness could totally be a person she dislikes because this ginger would totally get into a big argument with her over it. : D

caroline & ness to be honest, i don't think caroline would outright dislike her, maybe just be a little irked at ness' childishness and immaturity over such matters, since she will more than likely not understand if ness is reluctant to learn or simply angry at the institution itself. either way, she'd actually think of her as a spoiled child rather than someone she can take seriously. *le shruuuuug* i dunno.

Caroline & Alex Hey you, yes, you. We should thread and stuff, definitely, yes. Perhaps Alex could be this mysterious online boyfriend of hers? She definitely sounds like someone he could feel at ease enough with to bring his warmer, "true" self out, not even to mention her being more than intriguing enough in a handful of ways to rouse his interest, not least of which is her being a professor while he has (or well, had) a more menial job himself. In his eyes that'd make her considerably more learned than the usual person, and learning is one of his passions.
Furthermore, I reckon it could make up for quite an interesting conversation too, to hear that he'd be coming to the same city as her to look for both work and appartment.
...think she could see something in a mister like him? @w@ At least I see potential with these two .///@ somanyfeels.

Caroline & Alex Oh, of course >W< they are why he came to Sternbild after all. To learn she's living there too and kinda well established already to boot would just motivate him only more.
Could perhaps start it off with the aforementioned phonecall or something? I reckon it could work pretty nicely for building up some anticipation for whenever they'll decide to meet the first time .w. if she decides him worth it of course.
