need is to concede because I won't be someone else I am not perfect and I don't claim to be And if that's what you wanted Well then I'm so sorry ❞ The night was like any other and the tavern was lightly filled with a random mix of folks. The place always seemed to have a crowd that defied any attempt at stereotyping. To an outsider it seems to be a vary random collection of people and many that wonder in are never in the know just seeing the place as a quirky bar in the silver district. But to those aware would quickly see the underlying connection to the patrons at the bar. Most were NEXT...
Sebastien sat behind the long all wood bar unnoticed by most and assumed to just be another bar tender to anyone else. But this was his world a small hole he dig into the city to hide away from the slings and arrows of life. As the sole owner of the tavern sharing his family name he like to keep himself low key but involved in the day to day running of things. He enjoyed the distraction it gave him mixing drinks and serving up food like any other of his workers.
At this moment he was relaxing the lunch rush was over and the slow slide into the night was coming it was that peaceful moment before the evening diners and drinkers would be rolling in. And he was taking the time to enjoy a cigar and a cool drink a frosted glass of amaretto took there turns with his attention.

[cs=2][atrb=width,390,true][atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true] never want to be alone never want to be alone never want to be alone | [atrb=style,border-top: 15.5px #0E2126 solid; border-bottom: 15.5px #0E2126 solid;][cs=2] Despite not even being old enough to legally drink yet, Allister was rather familiar with liquor and bars. Not really by choice, as he personally hated the taste and had quite the weak stomach. He really only drank when he found himself in the company of his more troublesome peers. They got a kick out of seeing the awkward boy struggle with his alcohol, often times leaving him to his own defenses after they got wasted themselves. Some nights were forgotten, most remembered and regretted, he didn’t really like dwelling on what he’d done when he was without inhibitions. He’d been trying to avoid the troublemakers as of late, but with his luck, he frequently would come across one or two of them. Today, it seemed he’d be spared an awkward encounter… At least, so far that’s what it seemed like.
For someone trying to avoid the wrong crowd, it was probably a bad idea to make his way into a tavern. He would’ve probably passed the place by… If there was a restaurant that wasn’t still too busy for his liking nearby, that is. The lunch rush was still slowly dying down in the nearby places, and he didn’t want to spend another hour searching for a place, just because he wasn’t sure what the bar was like on the inside. Chaotic and loud places were never good, they tended to eventually cause an event that would make his powers stir to life, which was exactly what he wanted to avoid. He just wanted something to drink, non-alcoholic, and maybe just something to eat. Nothing extreme, a snack would do in all honesty.
So, pushing open the door and looking around, he saw that there wasn’t actually that many people inside. A mixed group as well, there wasn’t one ‘stereotype’ that seemed to outnumber and populate this place as if it were their own. It was interesting to see, but hopefully that would mean he could just sit and eat in peace for the time being. Last thing he needed was accidentally freezing his food, again. Soggy food was disgusting… Unless it was cereal, that was delicious. Back to the scene, though, Allister reached up and gently adjusted the hood of his sweat shirt, making sure it covered most of his head in a make-shift security blanket. He didn’t look around anymore as he just shuffled along to the wooden bar to take a seat.
Taking his seat, he didn’t notice the older man just a couple of seats away, trying to keep to his own business. Head bowed, Allister’s attempts to avoid attention might come across as suspicious behavior at this point. Not bothering to call out for attention from one of the workers, the staff most likely still busy with the process of cleaning up after the rush, or tending to other customers, Allister just sat there patiently. He twiddled his thumbs and waited, getting lost in his thoughts as he did. | [atrb=style,background-color: #0E2126; width: 100px;] tagged: | Sebastian / Open | [atrb=style,background-color: #0E2126; width: 100px;] comments: | sorry for the rubbish first post. if i need to add more / re-write a part to provide better prompt for interaction, just tell me and i'll get right on that. | [atrb=style,background-color: #0E2126; width: 100px; -webkit-border-bottom-right-radius: 20px; -moz-border-bottom-right-radius: 20px; border-bottom-right-radius: 20px; -webkit-border-bottom-left-radius: 20px; -moz-border-bottom-left-radius: 20px; border-bottom-left-radius: 20px;] credit: | [atrb=vAlign, bottom]made by ZINGARA of BTN & LS

Watched as the kid settled in and a quick glance told him the handful of servers would be tied up for a bit. After all the young are not the best tippers sad by true. He gave things a few moments to work themselves out to see if anyone would step up to the lad but after it was clear he was the last on there list of must get to Sebastian made a mental note to remind the staff about the value all customers.
The older fellow put his smoke and his drink down on the bar before getting up and tying on a waist apron and sliding over to the young boy.
"So what will it be their fellow?" His voice was plan not quite monotone not quite warm just a hint of general annoyance that was quickly stuff away and replaced by a smile. He pulls a menu from his apron and slid it over to the boy.

It wasn’t until he actually heard the man’s voice did the young man finally look up for the first time since entering the bar. With the annoyed tone, Allister just managed a small nervous smile, wondering if perhaps he’d done something wrong. Shortly after the annoyed tone, the man followed it up with a smile as if he was either just going to grin and bear his annoyance, or maybe it wasn’t really Allister he was annoyed with? He assumed the previous option, and hesitated speaking, glancing around to try and relocate the menu he’d saw just moments before. It was just a couple of seconds before he finally spotted it once more.
“Oh, uh… Could I have a rootbeer? Do you have those frosted cups? Could I have one for the rootbeer if you do?” he questioned. With his soft voice, if the bar had been any busier he probably would’ve been impossible to hear. He didn’t look away from the menu for a moment, before realizing he was taking possibly too long. A bit worried he might annoy the possibly already irritated man, he quickly added “And just a large order of french fries.” With that, Allister looked back up at the man with a sheepish grin. His hands became a few degrees colder, but he was spared of the ice forming, luckily enough.
A small translucent mist surrounded his hands that would take an observant eye to catch, especially since he didn’t keep his hands on the table very long. Once noticing the coldness surrounding his hands, he slid them from the counter top and tucked them into the big pocket of his hoodie. He jolted his head back quickly, causing his hood to fall back, hoping to use the action to deter attention from his hands. Following the action, he gave another nervous grin and finished with a quick “Please and thank you.” | [atrb=style,background-color: #0E2126; width: 100px;] tagged: | Sebastian / Open | [atrb=style,background-color: #0E2126; width: 100px;] comments: | awkward allister is awkward. | [atrb=style,background-color: #0E2126; width: 100px; -webkit-border-bottom-right-radius: 20px; -moz-border-bottom-right-radius: 20px; border-bottom-right-radius: 20px; -webkit-border-bottom-left-radius: 20px; -moz-border-bottom-left-radius: 20px; border-bottom-left-radius: 20px;] credit: | [atrb=vAlign, bottom]made by ZINGARA of BTN & LS

Sebastian nodded and with a smile "Sure kid I got that...." He pulls a frosted glass mug out from under the bar and filled it from the tap before sliding it across the counter. He turned around to look into the kitchen behind bar grabbing a bill slip he nodded and jotted down the request for fries and tagged it up on the queue with the other orders placing it ahead of the rest.
The older name took the moments while the chief quickly filled the simple order to look over the kid try to get a good read on him noting his sheepish demeanor and mannerisms. Once the food arrived he slid that across the bar also. "There you go kid." He said with a grin.
Sebastian then picked back up his own drink and took a sip from its golden liquid. "So whats got you down?" assuming the young mans poise to be that of someone with troubles on their mind.

Perhaps he wasn’t being annoying? While Sebastian went to fill up the frosted glass, Allister finally pulled his hands from his pockets and set them back on the counter top, the translucent mist now gone. The glass slid along the counter top and was gently caught in his hands. Cold on cold, Allister relaxed a bit, the fear of accidentally freezing his drink not a problem for the time being with the fact his glass was already pretty much ice.
Shortly after he got his frosted glass, the fries were slid in front of him after a moment. Grabbing the basket the fries came in, he looked up as the man spoke and nodded slightly. “Thank you… Again” he repeated with a little nervous chuckle. Bowing his head, he just focused on his food at this point. If he ate fast enough, he could avoid making the French fries soggy, surely. Rolling his shoulders slightly, he quickly tossed a couple of the fries into his mouth, delighted by the warmth of fresh fries. It was a simple delight many enjoyed, but probably not as much as Allister. While he did get warm food often, his meals were ruined on a regular basis by his own powers turning hot dogs into ice dogs, or hotcakes into ice-cakes.
Going for another mouthful, he jumped slightly when the man spoke to him, a brief glow and the fry was frozen to his hand. His mouth wide open as if about to bite down on the fry, Allister didn’t move for a long moment as he tried to figure out how to hide the mistake. Glancing away, the young man’s face flustered slightly as he awkwardly withdrew his hand from his mouth and gave an awkward grin. “Down?” he questioned, giving a nervous chuckle. Lowering his hand and gently tapping the frozen fry on the basket, he looked up at Sebastian for a brief moment before looking over at his frosty glass. “I’m not down about anything… Just… Getting a meal” he assured, shifting anxiously under the man’s stare. “Y’know ‘cause… Hungry… Food” he rambled for a brief moment, before using a drink from the root beer as an excuse to shut himself up. | [atrb=style,background-color: #0E2126; width: 100px;] tagged: | Sebastian / Open | [atrb=style,background-color: #0E2126; width: 100px;] comments: | sorry for the wait, sickness / busy lately. | [atrb=style,background-color: #0E2126; width: 100px; -webkit-border-bottom-right-radius: 20px; -moz-border-bottom-right-radius: 20px; border-bottom-right-radius: 20px; -webkit-border-bottom-left-radius: 20px; -moz-border-bottom-left-radius: 20px; border-bottom-left-radius: 20px;] credit: | [atrb=vAlign, bottom]made by ZINGARA of BTN & LS

Sebastian nodded at the youth. "Well ok son." He took another sip form his drink looking over the lad once more before shrugging and pulling out a stool from under the bar. The older gent retrieved his cigar and sat down a little ways down for the boy to not bother the kid while he ate with smoke.
He would just settle down and enjoy in the quite before the dinner rush. While years of being behind the bar gave him that need to chat folks up he was sure the lad was not interested in talking so he would let him be.
Casualty Sebastian puffed out smoke rings towards the ceiling. watching them slowly raise. There was a certain beauty to the random way they danced starting out so clear and perfect only to stench and distort to be torn about but the world around them as they rouse. He gave a quite laugh when he realized the morbid symbolism he was putting into things.

He no longer bothered him, and even seemed to keep his distance at this point. The young NEXT eyed Sebastian for a brief moment, before turning to the task of trying to remove the frozen fry from his finger. He gnawed on the fry, much like a dog would chew on a bone. When that didn’t work, he tried prying it off with his other hand, but that didn’t work, either. He stared at the frozen fry for a long moment, before slowly the ice seemed to melt by itself, his power no longer in effect. With a plop, the fry landed on the table and Allister quickly got to the task of finishing off the fries before he’d freeze anything, again.
Two handfuls of fries later, the man from before began laughing at something, causing Allister to slowly look over at him. Quirking a brow, he watched some of the smoke drift away from the man, who managed to do that peculiar ring trick it seemed. He watched the smoke drift apart before looking back to the man with a curious look. He wasn’t quite sure what was so hilarious about the simple act of smoke drifting apart. Staying quiet for a bit longer, Allister managed to finish off a majority of his fries before returning to his root beer.
He looked down at the glass after finishing a good portion of it, and swung it around to allow the soda inside to spin around like a whirlpool. He set the glass down with a sigh and looked over at Sebastian once more. Honestly, he’d tried smoking once before, but he managed to inhale smoke and ended up coughing for a week. Plus, when he came home, his mother was all but ready to rip him a new one. “How do you do that…?” he questioned, thinking out loud. The moment the words came out, he paused and glanced off to the side, again. “Sorry, just thinking out loud. Don’t have to answer” he quickly tacked on, taking another drink from his frosted glass. He set the cup down and hesitated for a moment before looking over at Sebastian. “… Hungry?” he questioned with a sheepish grin, tilting the fry basket towards the other in offering. It was a bit weird to offer food to the staff of the place you got the food at, but he just wanted to drift the topic away from his random blurt. | [atrb=style,background-color: #0E2126; width: 100px;] tagged: | Sebastian / Open | [atrb=style,background-color: #0E2126; width: 100px;] comments: | sorry for the wait, sickness / busy lately. | [atrb=style,background-color: #0E2126; width: 100px; -webkit-border-bottom-right-radius: 20px; -moz-border-bottom-right-radius: 20px; border-bottom-right-radius: 20px; -webkit-border-bottom-left-radius: 20px; -moz-border-bottom-left-radius: 20px; border-bottom-left-radius: 20px;] credit: | [atrb=vAlign, bottom]made by ZINGARA of BTN & LS

Sebastian looked down from his musing to looked the boy over his red eyes having a bit of a puzzled look as he offered him fries. "No no I own this place I can get anything if I get hungry but thanks for the offer." He rolled the cigar in his hands before cocking his head to one side. "The trick ... well it is all about focus." He took a draw and puffed out a set of rings. "It is all about control you gotta get a sort of ball of smoke going but then puff it out so you get an air current that curls it in on itself." He watched the rings raise and break up. "But I would not suggest smoking it is a nasty habit you get into later in life." he smiled. "But youth never listens... Don't blame you I didn't listen and your kids will not either it is one of them things you learn on your own." He put his cigar down. "But trust me when you do pick it up go for the good stuff don't waste a few bills and crap savor something good because it is all about the quality of your poisons not the quantity and for the love of things please don't do it because it looks cool." He laughed. "But yeah you can make it look cool."
He realized he was rambling and shrugged it off. "Kid Names Sebastian Tannhauser as noted I run this place so you wanna come in here from what ever it is out there that is hounding you feel free I'll tell the staff to give you a break." He could remember when he was young and naive and how a few bad turns tore up all his good years before he new what good years where. Right now he felt like he was looking back at the clam before the storm like a window into his days gone by. "Just don't give a hard time kay?"

Well… That was unexpected. Allister blinked a few times, before flustering slightly and quickly setting the French bowl back down. Embarrassing much? Offering the owner of the bar food, really? He sighed and looked back over at the old man before he went on to actually answer the question Allister had asked him before. How do you make a ring of smoke? Listening intently, the young NEXT absorbed the information like a little sponge, having always been a very good listener. He managed to excel in his studies faster than his mother often anticipated due to his attention.
After he explained, the elder gentleman proceeded to assure Allister that smoking was a nasty habit. He couldn’t help but smile nervously, knowing he’d already given smoking a try. Not that the man seemed terribly upset about the idea of younger kids smoking, he was a rather open minded man it appeared. Calming down in response to the other’s accepting response, he couldn’t hold back a small chuckle as he even went on to give advice on how to handle smoking. Even if he was rambling, Allister wasn’t at all bothered by the fact. He wasn’t much of a talker himself, unless he busted into one of his many nervous ramblings. He would manage to shut himself up before that carried on for long, though.
Sebastian Tannhauser, well that explained the interesting name of the bar. Allister quickly memorized his name, and paused when the man went on to say that Allister would get a ‘break’. Did that mean he didn’t have to pay? The boy blinked a few times, before grinning brightly at Sebastian. “Alright” he replied with a curt nod. “My name is Allister… Allister Hale” he informed, and turned a bit in his seat to offer his hand to the older man. “Thank you, Mr. Tannhauser” he chuckled. Should the other shake Allister’s hand, he’d probably notice the fact his skin was definitely cold. His smile turned nervous, again, as he looked down, hand still offered. “You really don’t have to give me a break, though... I get a pretty big allowance from my parents, so I can afford a couple of meals” he explained, not wanting to be a potential burden for such a nice guy. | [atrb=style,background-color: #0E2126; width: 100px;] tagged: | Sebastian / Open | [atrb=style,background-color: #0E2126; width: 100px;] comments: | Yay french fries of friendship worked | [atrb=style,background-color: #0E2126; width: 100px; -webkit-border-bottom-right-radius: 20px; -moz-border-bottom-right-radius: 20px; border-bottom-right-radius: 20px; -webkit-border-bottom-left-radius: 20px; -moz-border-bottom-left-radius: 20px; border-bottom-left-radius: 20px;] credit: | [atrb=vAlign, bottom]made by ZINGARA of BTN & LS

Sebastian give Allister a smirk. "Well Mr. Hale you and your allowance have much better things to do then be wasted on simple things like food and drink." He opened the register and pulled out a card swiping it though the machine and a little typing later he tossed to the Allister. "Here just use that when you feel like it the card has a daily tab limit that will net you three squares and some extras." The card landing on the bar in front the kid had the Tavern logo on it with the words VIP White Knights and a little picture of a sword and shield on it vary much like the one behind the bar. "And if you still feel like paying for things instead just pay it forward... you know make someone elses day and get the good karma moving around."
With that he went back to his stool taking a seat across of the young one. "Besides you remind me a bit of my kid .... where ever he is these days." He got a bit a wistful look for a moment getting lost in thoughts. Like many things in his life that was another sad tale and he did not want to bore the kid with it so he brushed the idea away straighten his vest and smiled. "So what do the young folk get up to these days?"

Not that the young NEXT should be complaining about this, as everyone loved the idea of free food. Still, it didn’t feel right to just accept something like this, but it didn’t seem like Sebastian would have it any other way. He wasn’t entirely sure what he’d done to appeal to the man to the point of getting free food so suddenly. Maybe it was just the simple fact of offering French fries? That could’ve done the trick. Funny how just being nice to people can do wonders.
Listening closely to the other’s instructions, Allister slipped the card from the bar and studied its design curiously. He tilted it around a bit, scanning the card, before nodding and pulling out his wallet to put the card away. As he slid it neatly into place, the old man settled down across from Allister and went on with his rambles. He tilted his head at the mentioning of a son, but the other went on to something else entirely. Perhaps the son was a touchy subject? Allister didn’t pursue it, and merely focused on the question. What did kids do these days?
“Uh… Well, some of them go to parties, clubs, bars…” he mumbled, not entirely sure what everyone did. “Some just like to relax in those little cafes… Spend all day playing video games, too. I uh… Just go where my friends go” he explained, shrugging slightly. He took a sip from his drink and set it down gently. “There’s some starting up college, but my parents don’t think I should look into those quite yet…” he added, eyes resting on his food and avoiding Sebastian. He paused, before looking up and smiling slightly. “So, what do older folk get up to these days?” he questioned back, attempting to be witty by returning the question, but replacing young for old. | [atrb=style,background-color: #0E2126; width: 100px;] tagged: | Sebastian Tannhauser / Open | [atrb=style,background-color: #0E2126; width: 100px;] comments: | Yay, poor social skills! | [atrb=style,background-color: #0E2126; width: 100px; -webkit-border-bottom-right-radius: 20px; -moz-border-bottom-right-radius: 20px; border-bottom-right-radius: 20px; -webkit-border-bottom-left-radius: 20px; -moz-border-bottom-left-radius: 20px; border-bottom-left-radius: 20px;] credit: | [atrb=vAlign, bottom]made by ZINGARA of BTN & LS

Not much has changed but that of coruse is something we all learn as we got older. Everything new is just something old with a different paint job or name plate. "college is good if you have the want to do so." He could remember his college days and the shit storm that was being the 'fallen hero' on campus. Still it was a good time after a year or two he stopped being a spectacle and was able to fade into the background. Good to as he got a lot of schooling for many subjects. Sadly no degrees or anything life as always broke that dream before it got to far. But still it helped him become a well rounded man.
Broken form his train of thought by Allister's question. "Well it depends on the older folk in question." he smiled and took a moment to recover his forgotten drink. "If you mean this old man well then to be perfectly honest..." he took a long drink from his amaretto. "Just this side of nothing." It was true he went to great measures to have as little to do as possible that was not simple busy work. "Kid when you get this old you are either wildly successful and drifting into your twilight years.... or your a washed up has been just trying to slide on by before anything worst decides to come knocking on your door." He was really not that old but the years were not kind and they left there marks on him.
He waved the taught away. "Na I don't mean to get heavy on you and to be honest you most likely wont take most of this to heart it just the way we all are when young." be played with his glass swishing around the liquor wile talking absentmindedly the glass having warmed it self sitting around now started to refrosted itself of its own accord wisps of cold vapor falling around Sebastian's hand. "But let me give you one bit of advice that I hope you hold onto even if you don't follow it anytime soon." He pointed at Allister leaving a slight trail of cold vapor as his hand moved. "They say youth is wasted on the young... they say that because you don't realize just how lucky it is to be young until it is to late... So use up your youth drink in ever moment you can... Enjoy the freedom you have now." He laughed a half hearted laugh with a touch of sorrow to it. "because it only takes one fuck up to bring it all crashing down and before you know it you will be looking at your younger years wonder where they went."

[cs=2][atrb=width,390,true][atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true] never want to be alone never want to be alone never want to be alone | [atrb=style,border-top: 15.5px #0E2126 solid; border-bottom: 15.5px #0E2126 solid;][cs=2] Following his comment on college, Sebastian replied that it was good if he wanted to go. Honestly, Allister would love to go to college, or even the Hero Academy. He wanted to go back to some sort of public schooling, again, and hopefully meet back up with some old friends. He was ready to become a teacher or a hero, or really anything at this point, but anyone who knew Alllister knew why he couldn’t do that quite yet. As Sebastian went on about what the older people did, Allister listened intently whilst examining his chilling hands that would always be cold to the touch.
Looking up as Sebastian continued his speech, he slowly frowned at the other’s opinions on what it was like being old. Life wasn’t truly that black and white, clearly, but it seemed this man believed himself to just be a washed up has been by how he was talking. Letting his gaze drift back down to the basket in front of him, Allister didn’t catch the frost reappearing on the older man’s glass until he looked up and noticed the cold vapor following his hand. His eyes locked on the other’s hand, watching it wave around as Sebastian spoke. When he let out the halfhearted laugh, Allister’s gaze slowly drifted up to Sebastian finally and he remained silent for a long moment.
“… That’s… Kinda hard for me” he mumbled, gaze drifting back down. With a sad smile, he admitted “You were right… Well, mostly. Younger people don’t listen, I didn’t listen. I’ve done a lot of things I don’t want to look back on when I’m older.” His smile drifted away for a moment as he recalled a few instances. “I already tried smoking, but I didn’t do it right or something… I ended up coughing up a lung and didn’t touch the stuff ever again after that point” he confessed and sighed heavily. “And drinking… Just… A lot of stuff” he mumbled, shaking his head. “I don’t really like that kind of stuff, and I know I’m supposed to be able to have control of my life and y’know start shaping my future… But, I’m stuck” he rambled, refusing to look up at Sebastian anymore.
“I want to go to college, or… Hero Academy. My parents won’t let me do either of them, though. I’ve had my powers for years and I still can’t control them, but my parents don’t want me to go to Hero Academy because they think I’m smart enough to become something better than just another costumed crusader running around this town. If I can’t control my powers, though, I can’t go to any of the schools I wanted to go to. I’d freeze my roommates to their beds, I’d leave icy trails all through the halls when I’m going to some sort of exam” he rambled, nerves rattled at this point that Allister nearly forgot his mute button. “Every time I’m scared, every time someone gets scared, I can’t stop it. The ice just appears and spreads and I can’t…” he trailed off, swallowing quietly as he slowly looked up at Sebastian. He fell silent for a moment, finding the mute button, before he mumbled a quiet apology, most likely for his outburst.
Around the hem of his hoodie, Allister’s hands had begun to play and pull on the cloth as he rambled, and said fingers were now dripping with the icy water, as if trying to freeze part of Allister’s hoodie. “If it counts for anything, though I’m not sure how valued my opinion may be… I think you’re a pretty cool old guy, heh” he added, with a little smile. | [atrb=style,background-color: #0E2126; width: 100px;] tagged: | Sebastian Tannhauser | [atrb=style,background-color: #0E2126; width: 100px;] comments: | sorry for the wait, and sorry this post is kinda... crummy | [atrb=style,background-color: #0E2126; width: 100px; -webkit-border-bottom-right-radius: 20px; -moz-border-bottom-right-radius: 20px; border-bottom-right-radius: 20px; -webkit-border-bottom-left-radius: 20px; -moz-border-bottom-left-radius: 20px; border-bottom-left-radius: 20px;] credit: | [atrb=vAlign, bottom]made by ZINGARA of BTN & LS

need is to concede because I won't be someone else I am not perfect and I don't claim to be And if that's what you wanted Well then I'm so sorry ❞ Sebastian listen to Allister ramble on about his problems with his folks and his powers nodding along letting the image roll around in his head. He wondered for a moment what it would have been like if he had defied his parents when he was young would life turned out different. He shrugged what ifs are the road to regrets. He smiled at Allister though this his head down he doubted he was looking at him.
"Hey we all start out let that. Power is kind of like walking a tight rope. At first anything even a strong breeze comes along and Bam you just frozen the poor maids cloths and gave her frost bite." He gave a small laugh at that the memory of the event different now through the lens of age. It made more sense why everyone was upset when her cloths fell of it scattered pieces that did not make sense to a 10 year old. "No your young and as such everything for barking dogs to a really pretty girl smiling at you will throw your balance off." He took a long draw from his cold drink. "To be honest I'm sure there is not a NEXT around that does not have a handful of stories about how they got scared and things went sideways for us."
He refilled his drink before going on. "To be honest really the only thing that worked at lest for me was to punch through it. Expose yourself to what ever stress it is that messes with your control and let it go sooner or later you will learn to get your balance back." He laughed "Of course I suggest you do this somewhere safe where if you freeze stuff only thing that is going to get busied is your pride." thought of a bit going over some memories in his head. "For me I just found some abandon warehouse down on the docks and used that as a practice area."
