In the early days of the year 2258, the USS Enterprise left with a young, green crew called to service from their studies at Starfleet Academy. When the Narada incident happened, the USS Galileo was ahead of schedule where she was being built at the San Francisco Shipyards.
Much smaller than the Enterprise, the Galileo is a Miranda-Class Starship with a maximum crew capacity of 220. The Galileo is a science vessel; she was built for the study of science. She's top-of-the-line, and nothing less than exceptionally exciting.
The Galileo requires the best of the best in regard to medical and sciences. They are trying to build a team that will work well together for however long their research keeps them in place on the Galileo. Now, the Galileo crew will enter their newly completed ship, and begin their mission; simply-- to boldly go wherever their scientific research takes them.
