When out of costume, Mika looks like a plane Jane; you probably wouldn't notice her on the street. Once the school day ends, she strips from her Hero Academy uniform and dons a navy blue dress with a collar and bow tie. Her dark hair is pulled into a side ponytail, her bangs reaching just below her eyebrows, she's often seen with a couple sticks of pocky for 'save keeping' and her favorite red scrunchy. Her white socks stretch up to the middle of her chin and her feet are adorned with black penny loafers, which her dark, violet colored, bespectacled eyes are usually gazing at. If anyone didn't know any better, they'd say she was a high school student, though the dress was slightly different than the regular girl's uniform. She's short in stature and is sometimes perceived to be younger than she actually is, standing at 5'2". She's also pretty light weight, weighing in at 100lbs. Being that she can be a bit of a hermit, she doesn't get as much sunlight as most others her age and has pretty fair skin. To complete the outfit, she usually carries around a box of pocky in the pocket of her blue, long sleeved sweater.

Along the top, around the bust area, is a shiny, gold trim (were her bust bigger, it might be a bit more defined), as well as a V-shaped gold design that goes down the front of the suit. Her face sports a mask with tips that reach just passed her face and look a bit like wings, the space around her eyes lined with gold and the outsides in white. Attached to the shoulders of her suit is a billowing cape, trimmed with gold and plays host to the name of her sponsor (Helio Energy). On her feet are boots with a small, 2" heel that reach up to just below the knee, the tops of which are also trimmed with gold and her hands are dressed in long, white gloves that reach to just below the elbow.
Since she can move objects, she can use those as weapons and doesn't carry any.
-The stuffed animal she had when she was a child became her best friend when she didn't really have many other friends. Now that she's older, she doesn't hold onto it the way she used to and leaves it at home most of the time. Its still something she cherishes though and tends to hide it from others to avoid teasing.
-She often hopes that in her hero work she'll finally be able to find her father and ask him why he left and never came back. Its not that she's expecting him to be a criminal, but she hopes she'll come across him while in uniform and that he'll be proud of her.
-Being that her mother is someone she's very close to, she takes most advice her mother gives her to heart and would protect her no matter what (she's a mamma's girl pretty much).
-She has a thing for older men. She's more likely to have a crush on a teacher or something than she is to have a crush on someone her own age, though its not to say it'll never happen.

Mika was always a shy child. When she was in grade school, her parents were concerned about the fact that she didn't have any friends, other than the stuffed chicken that she'd carry around all the time and occasionally have conversation with. It was worrisome, to say the least, but they were advised by teachers that she'd eventually grow out of that and become more social in time, likely around the time she hit puberty. When she did hit puberty, however, instead of becoming more social, she came into her NEXT abilities. Being that she was telekinetic, she wouldn't control it well when things would start flying around the room, including other people sometimes. After an incident in school, when a student was stabbed with a pair of scissors that were sitting out on the table after a craft they'd been doing, she was considered dangerous. Any hope she had of really making friends had vanished at that point and she felt like a bother to everyone.
Without much warning, her father left when she was 14. She was under the impression that he was just going to work, like he always did, but when he didn't return home for two days, she began to worry. As any child would, she asked the remaining parent, but didn't get many answers. She was told that her father was on a long business trip in another country and didn't say when he'd be coming back, but she could see in her mother's eyes that this wasn't the truth. She had no idea, though, that he'd left because he considered his daughter a freak and couldn't handle her powers.
Once old enough, she was entered into Hero Academy by her mother, who had always believed in her abilities, no matter how dangerous they were when she couldn't control them. Having the fragment of support that she needed, always having been told by her mother that she'd make a good hero someday, she wasn't reluctant to enter the academy, but after seeing other's powers, she became worried that hers would never really be useful in hero work. Contrary to popular belief, she became a second league hero, helping the first league heroes with smaller crimes while they took care of the big fish. Others seemed to have confidence in her abilities and she was taken on by Helios Energy. Though she does have better control over her powers, they occasionally cause a bit of a mess when she experiences a strong emotion.

She can only move things when her power is activated and only has to sense its presence to be able to move it (as in she doesn't have to be looking directly at it).
