+ Affectionate - Do you need a hug? No? Too bad, Rasmus' gonna give you one anyways.
+ Caring - Nearly to a fault. Rasmus will fawn all over you no matter what your problem is, until he can help make you feel better. Depressed? He'll be a shoulder to cry on. Hurt? He'll bring you band-aids.

IF I STUMBLE, THEY'RE GONNA EAT ME ALIVE
★ APPEARANCE
The best word to describe Rasmus would be gangly. He edges near 5'7", and has a rather thin frame, as if he doesn't eat enough. It's the byproduct of having an extremely high metabolism, and though he crams his face with food he has a hard time gaining weight. The result is a rather effeminate stature, as he's very slender, and even though he has gained muscle mas from training to be a hero, he's built rather lithely. He has a rather childish face, oval-shaped with full cheeks and a button nose, giving him a youthful appearance despite the fact that he's nearing twenty. He wears his hair long, it reaches to mid-back. Naturally it is a pale blonde thanks to his Nordic heritage, but he has the tendency to dye it bright cyan blue and pink. His eyes are normally blue but since he has poor vision he opts for contacts which change their color to a nice purple-magenta. He dresses for comfort, and is often found in clothing that appears to be too big for his small frame. Large dress shirts are some of his favorites, especially when combined with goofy ties. All in all though his clothing varies wildly, from casual dressy to couch potato (sweat pants, etc.) - it all depends on what he's doing at the time.

★ Backstory
Rasmus doesn't have any sort of tragic back story that lead to him becoming a hero. In fact, his life has been downright pleasant. Born to doting parents, he's the youngest of three children. His childhood was fairly mundane, with elementary school and middle school all passed by in a placid blur. When he entered high school, his eldest brother decided to enroll in the Swedish military. It was then his hero worship really began to take root, as he started exchanging letters with his brother who ended up stationed overseas.
When he hit puberty, his powers revealed themselves in a rather awkward manner. He had been out with one of his best friends, when the other boy's powers had manifested. They had been holding hands at the time - in the midst of a little puppy dog romance - and suddenly his friend was glowing. Before they knew it everything that had lined the street had been knocked over, and the buildings of windows shattered from the resulting sonic boom. It scared the hell out of the both of them who had no idea what was going on. After some testing it was discovered that his friend's shock wave generation had been amplified from the contact with Rasmus. It's unknown how long he had the power, as it never really had a chance to express itself beyond his friend's sudden manifestation.
Afterwards, his parents decided to ship him off to Hero Academy, thanks to the school's reputation as being one of the best regarding young NEXT. Studying hard he managed to be part of the top of his class, and caught the eye of one of the major city companies as a possible candidate for a future Hero team.

Rasmus' costume is fairly simple. It's designed to resemble a retro spacesuit, with a form-fitting body suit done up in blues, whites and reds. His helmet is a clear helmet made of strong, bullet-proof plastic. As of yet, it doesn't have many high-tech features, but but can display a handy heads-up display over the front of his helmet, and has the standard built-in communication systems.

So long as contact is continued, he can boost his partner's power up to two (2) times. This drains on his own energy reserves however, and can prove dangerous (or even fatal) if it's kept up for too long. He can really push himself to try to ramp things up to try to amplify powers up to three (3) times, but that is rather risky as it takes up a lot of his energy all at once and often leads to him passing out on the spot.
