THE STAGE IS SET
It is the beginning of NC 1980, the new year has just arrived. With Wild Tiger and Barnaby Brooks Jr. on the hero scene again, things are looking up for the future of Hero TV. Sternbild City has survived the threat of terrorists and corrupt government officials. It is thriving in fact, as more and more people flock to the metropolis, in search of work or the safety provided by heroes. Not everyone loves these company-sponsored paragons of justice, however. There are those who view their sense of justice as weak and exploitable, who wish to have their own hand at the criminals that plague the city. Vigilantes clash with heroes just as often as they do with criminals, and the networks broadcast it all in hopes of better ratings. What most don't realize is that beneath the glitz and glam of it all, darker things lurk, biding their time until there's an opportune moment to strike. Will you help the gleaming megacity prosper, or will you contribute to its downfall? The choice is yours.
